For most of my life, I’ve been interested in guitars and woodworking. There’s a certain satisfaction with building something from scratch, with a fresh slab of wood, using only your hands and some good tools.
That passion for woodworking has taken me to building electric guitars from scratch. I don’t know, it just feels damn good to make your own DIY electric guitar, just the way you want it, using a combination of off the shelf parts and your own custom signature.
Every time I plug one of my own DIY guitars into an amp, crank it up, and hit a few AC/DC chords, I am in a good place.
And I think anyone out there should have that same wonderful experience. This blog is my attempt to show how to make your own electric guitar, using either kits or building one from scratch. If you have any questions or comments, shoot me an email on the contact page.
